O kursie

"Legal Sources in the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania" is a course designed to introduce selected issues in the history of medieval and early modern legal and historical sources. The main issues concern the sources of land law, urban law, rural law, legal culture and the influence of the Roman law on the legal system of Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Both normative sources, as well as application-based sources and legal practice-oriented doctrinal sources are presented.

The course was developed as part of the project 'FONTES. FOstering iNnovative Training in the use of European Legal Sources" (https://fontes.project.uj.edu.pl/start ).
